Description

These air fryer pork belly bites are like little pieces of pork candy. Loaded with sweet, savory, smoky, and salty flavors, they are amazing and perfect as an appetizer or even with a meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs. pork belly (skin on or off), diced into 2’’ cubes
  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 1 tbs smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • Optional: teriyaki or sweet chili sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Add the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt pepper, and olive oil to a large bowl and mix to combine.
  2. Add the pork belly to the bowl with the seasoning. Toss the meat with the seasonings until all of the pieces are fully coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400 for 4-5.  Once the air fryer is preheated, add the pork belly to the basket in a single layer.
  4. Air fry at 400 for 15 minutes, turning the pork halfway through cooking.
  5. When the pork belly is done, it should be mostly golden-brown with some charred bits at the edges.  Serve the bites warm by themselves or with some teriyaki or sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping.
