Ingredients
- 2 6-8oz. fillets of salmon
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- Optional: green onions, sliced, for garnish
- Optional: sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Add the soy sauce, ¼ cup of water, honey, vegetable oil, sesame oil, vinegar, garlic, and cornstarch to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir over heat for 5 minutes, until the cornstarch is all dissolved and the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel then spread a thin layer of teriyaki sauce on each fillet.
- Preheat your air fryer to 390℉ for 5 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray then place the salmon inside. Air fry at 390℉ for 10 minutes. When the salmon is finished, it should be cooked through in the center and slightly charred at the edges. The internal temperature should be 145°.Â
- Pour the remaining teriyaki sauce over the cooked salmon. Garnish with sliced green onion and sesame seeds.
