Description

Crispy, breaded air fryer pork chops made with thick boneless chops, simple seasonings, and a golden panko coating that stays crunchy while the pork stays tender and juicy.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless pork chops, at least 1 inch thick
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Mix the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, rosemary, salt and pepper.
  3. Season both sides of the pork chops with half the seasoning mix. Gently press it in well.
  4. Beat egg in a shallow bowl. Place panko breadcrumbs in a separate shallow dish with remaining seasoning and mix well.
  5. Dip the pork chop into the egg, letting any excess drip off. Coat both sides with the panko, gently pressing in. Get the sides, too.
  6. Lightly spray the pork chops with cooking spray and place in air fryer in a single layer.
  7. Air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 140°F.
  8. Remove and let rest about 5 minutes before serving (carrypover cooking will bring them to 145°F).
