Description
Crispy, breaded air fryer pork chops made with thick boneless chops, simple seasonings, and a golden panko coating that stays crunchy while the pork stays tender and juicy.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless pork chops, at least 1 inch thick
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Mix the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, rosemary, salt and pepper.
- Season both sides of the pork chops with half the seasoning mix. Gently press it in well.Â
- Beat egg in a shallow bowl. Place panko breadcrumbs in a separate shallow dish with remaining seasoning and mix well.Â
- Dip the pork chop into the egg, letting any excess drip off. Coat both sides with the panko, gently pressing in. Get the sides, too.
- Lightly spray the pork chops with cooking spray and place in air fryer in a single layer.
- Air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 140°F.
- Remove and let rest about 5 minutes before serving (carrypover cooking will bring them to 145°F).
