Description
This Grilled Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce is restaurant-worthy but so easy to make! Golden crust, zesty, buttery flavor, and ready in 20 minutes!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds salmon
- ½ cup butter, melted
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, salt, black pepper, and (if using) honey and smoked paprika until well combined.
- Brush the lemon butter mixture generously over the salmon, coating all sides.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the salmon on the grill and cook for 4 minutes.
- Flip gently and cook for another 4 minutes or until it reaches the internal temperature of 125°F to 130°F. Pro tip: Don’t move the fish while it’s grilling; this helps prevent sticking.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Optional: Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Your grilled salmon will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days, but it’s best enjoyed within 1-2 days. To store, let the salmon cool completely before placing it in an airtight container or wrapping it tightly in foil.
