Description

Perfectly made, easy to peel hard boiled eggs made with ease in your Instant Pot pressure cooker.

Ingredients

  • 68 eggs, large
  • 1.5 cups cool water

Instructions

  1. Place metal trivet inside Instant Pot and add 1.5 cups of cool water.
  2. Carefully place eggs on the trivet.
  3. Secure lid, make sure vent is set to “sealing” or closed position.
  4. Pressure cook on high pressure for 5-6 minutes (see notes below).
  5. When cooking time is complete, quick release the pressure by opening the valve.
  6. Remove lid and use tongs to remove eggs one at a time into a bowl of water and ice.
  7. Let eggs sit in ice water bath for 5 minutes before removing and peeling.

Notes

  • Cooking times can vary, but 5 minutes generally gives you a creamy, darker yolk. 6 Minutes generally gives you a lighter, fluffier yolk.
  • Using cool water is important for each batch.
