Description

These aren’t your average scrambled eggs! Rich, heavy cream and slow cooking transform simple ingredients into a decadent breakfast worthy of a 5-star brunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Chopped chives, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, crack the eggs. Add heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Whisk until fully combined and slightly frothy using a fork.
  2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add the butter and let it melt gently, coating the pan.
  3. Pour in the egg mixture. Let it sit for a few seconds, then gently stir with a spatula, pushing from the edges to the center. Continue slowly stirring every few seconds to form soft curds.
  4. Cook until the eggs are just set but still slightly glossy and soft.
  5. Plate and serve warm.Top with fresh herbs like chopped chives.
