These juicy, flavor-packed turkey burgers come together effortlessly in your air fryer, delivering a healthier yet delicious alternative to traditional burgers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil spray (for air fryer basket)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer at 400°F for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Make the burger mix: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, Italian seasoning, paprika, ground mustard, black pepper, and kosher salt. Mix just until everything is combined—don’t overwork it.
  3. Form turkey patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and use your thumb to make a shallow indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
  4. Prepare the air fryer: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to keep the patties from sticking.
  5. Air fry the burgers: Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. The temperature will rise to 165°F as the burgers rest.
  6. Rest and serve: Let the burgers rest for 3–4 minutes before serving. Serve hot on buns with your favorite toppings and condiments.
