Description

These Grilled BBQ Chicken Wings are crispy, sticky, and loaded with flavor. With just a few pantry staples (grape jelly included!), they’re sweet, smoky, and perfect for your next cookout.

Ingredients

  • 32 oz Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce
  • 20 oz (1 bottle) grape jelly
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 16 bone-in, skin-on whole chicken wings

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  2. In a saucepan or mixing bowl, combine barbecue sauce, grape jelly, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and set aside.
  3. Place the wings skin-side down on the hot grill. Grill for 5 minutes.
  4. Flip the wings and reduce the heat to medium. Baste with the sauce.
  5. Grill for 5 minutes, then flip and baste again.
  6. Continue flipping and basting every 5 minutes, repeating until the wings have been basted 3-4 times total.
  7. After the final flip and baste, check the internal temperature in the thickest part of the wings. They are done when they reach 165°F.
