Description
These Grilled BBQ Chicken Wings are crispy, sticky, and loaded with flavor. With just a few pantry staples (grape jelly included!), they’re sweet, smoky, and perfect for your next cookout.
Ingredients
- 32 oz Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce
- 20 oz (1 bottle) grape jelly
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 16 bone-in, skin-on whole chicken wings
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to high heat.
- In a saucepan or mixing bowl, combine barbecue sauce, grape jelly, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and set aside.
- Place the wings skin-side down on the hot grill. Grill for 5 minutes.
- Flip the wings and reduce the heat to medium. Baste with the sauce.
- Grill for 5 minutes, then flip and baste again.
- Continue flipping and basting every 5 minutes, repeating until the wings have been basted 3-4 times total.
- After the final flip and baste, check the internal temperature in the thickest part of the wings. They are done when they reach 165°F.
