Classic Homestyle Meatloaf made simple with rich mascarpone cheese for extra creaminess, combining ground beef, breadcrumbs, herbs, and a tangy glaze for a comforting, easy-to-make dish.


Ingredients

For the Meatloaf:

  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, small diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 oz mascarpone cheese (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 tbsp Lee & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)

For the Topping:

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce (or your favorite)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
