Description
This Pumpkin Pear Cobbler is a fall version of the summer classic. An easy dessert with juicy pears and a crisp topping, with all the cozy pumpkin spice flavor you crave.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 ½ cups milk
- ½ cup melted butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or paste
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 ½ pounds pears, canned

- 9x12-inch baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×12-inch baking dish with Pam or another nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, pumpkin puree, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures. Stir until the batter is smooth and no clumps remain.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Place the pears evenly over the top of the batter. Do not press them down.
- Bake at 350°F until the cobbler is set and golden on top, about 45 minutes.
Notes
Store any leftover pear pumpkin cobbler in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days. To reheat, place it in the microwave in 30-second intervals until warmed through.
