    Grilled Peaches

    This Grilled Peaches recipe is an easy and delicious summer dessert. Juicy peaches are grilled to get that smoky flavor, then topped with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon and fresh herbs. Try it with a scoop of ice cream or mix things up with a savory twist!

    The Perfect Summer Dessert

    Peaches are one of my favorite summer fruits. You can do so many yummy things with them! They’re mild enough to go the savory route, yet sweet enough to turn into a healthy dessert. 

    The cool thing about these grilled peaches? You can do both!

    I recently made this Grilled Chicken and Peach Salad, and it was so good! Now I’m firing up the grill once again to let those natural sugars shine in a sweet dessert.

    This might just be my favorite way to enjoy peaches. Try it and see if you agree!

    Ingredients

    • Peaches or nectarines: Make sure you are using firm, ripe peaches for the most juicy flavor.
    • Olive oil or melted butter: This gets coated all over your peaches before grilling.
    • Honey: Drizzle some honey at the end for some delightful sweetness.
    • Cinnamon (optional): A sprinkle of cinnamon takes this dessert to the next level.
    • Fresh mint leaves (optional): Another optional topping, but boy, is it a tasty one!
    • Pecans or walnuts (optional): Add some delicious crunch to your grilled peaches.

    Other Fun Topping Ideas

    Looking to take your grilled peaches to the next level? Here are some fun and delicious topping ideas to try:  

    Go Sweet  

    • Vanilla ice cream  
    • Whipped cream  
    • Greek yogurt  
    • Maple syrup  

    Go Savory  

    • Balsamic glaze  
    • Creamy burrata cheese  
    • Prosciutto or bacon  
    • Feta or goat cheese crumbles

    ​Preparation

    Start by slicing the peaches in half and taking out the pits. 

    Now heat up your grill or grill pan to medium heat. Clean and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.

    Next, brush a little olive oil or melted butter on the cut sides of the peach halves. If you are using cinnamon, sprinkle it on here.

    Grilling

    Place each peach half, cut-side down, on the grill. Grill for 3-4 minutes until you see those nice grill marks and the peaches start to soften. 

    When done cooking, use tongs to remove the peaches from the grill. Then immediately drizzle on the honey while they are still warm.

    Serving

    Now for the final touches. Top your peaches off with some fresh mint. You can serve it warm just as it is, or add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a little dollop of yogurt. 

    Want to take it up a notch? Sprinkle on some toasted nuts. 

    Now dig in and enjoy your delicious peaches!

    ​Other Ways to Enjoy Grilled Peaches

    These grilled peaches can be easily incorporated into a variety of sweet and savory dishes. This recipe would be perfect in my Grilled Chicken and Peach Salad, or even as a topping for a peach cobbler.

    Storage & Reheating

    To store leftover grilled peaches, let them cool completely and then place them in an airtight container or ziplock bag. They can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.

    To reheat the peaches, simply place them on a warm grill or pan for 1-2 minutes on each side until warmed through.

    Description

    Grilled peaches are the ultimate summer treat! Sweet, juicy peaches get a smoky flavor on the grill, topped with honey and fresh herbs. Add ice cream or try a savory twist!


    Ingredients

    • 4 ripe but firm peaches or nectarines
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
    • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, chopped or torn (optional, for garnish)
    • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for garnish & crunch)
    • Optional toppings: vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, Greek yogurt

    Instructions

    1. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.
    2. Heat a grill or grill pan to medium heat. Clean and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
    3. Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with olive oil or melted butter. If you are using cinnamon, sprinkle it lightly over the cut sides.
    4. Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Grill for 3-4 minutes until grill marks form and the peaches begin to soften.
    5. Remove peaches from the grill. Immediately drizzle on the honey while they are still warm.
    6. Garnish with fresh mint. Serve warm as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a dollop of yogurt. Sprinkle toasted nuts on top if desired.
