Craving flaky fish with crispy edges and bold flavor? Your search ends here. This incredible Asian-Inspired Air Fryer Salmon is ready in just 10 minutes, featuring a sweet, spicy glaze that caramelizes to perfection. It’s sticky, tangy, and utterly irresistible.

Why I Love This Easy Air Fryer Salmon Recipe
Let’s be real—cooking salmon can be intimidating. Overcook it, and you’ve got dry, rubbery fish. Undercook it, and… well, no one wants that. But here’s the best way to get great results every time: your air fryer!
I love this cooking method because the air fryer doesn’t just “fry”—it uses super-hot circulating air to lock in moisture while giving the salmon that perfect crispy exterior. No flipping, no fuss, just delicious salmon in a fraction of the cook time (we’re talking 10 minutes!). That’s why I keep coming back to my Air Fryer Citrus Garlic Salmon, Easy Air Fryer Honey Mustard Salmon, Best Damn Air Fryer Blackened Salmon. Delicious, healthy, and easy to make!
For this great recipe, I went with bold Asian-inspired flavors. Honey for sweetness, sriracha for a subtle kick, and soy sauce, lime, and garlic to tie it all together. The balance is chef’s kiss, providing just enough flavor to make the salmon shine without overpowering it.
If you’re looking for air fryer recipes that deliver, this air fryer salmon recipe is IT.

Made with Only 6 Ingredients
- Salmon filets: Either skin or skinless salmon works fine! I like to cook with wild-caught salmon over farm-raised salmon as a healthier option.
- Low-sodium soy sauce: This ingredient adds flavor and depth to the salmon.
- Honey: Sticky and sweet, honey helps balance out the salty soy sauce.
- Lime juice: Fresh lime juice adds a bright and tangy element to the dish.
- Sriracha: For a kick of heat, add in some sriracha sauce.
- Garlic: A little garlic goes a long way in adding depth and flavor to the marinade.
Preparation
Our recipe starts with combining the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, and lime juice. Whisk it all together in a large bowl or a large zip-top bag. Then add the salmon and let it marinate in the fridge for at least an hour. A few hours or overnight is fine too!

Cooking
Once your salmon is infused with flavor, it’s time to air fry!
Preheat the air fryer at 400°F for 5 minutes. Add the salmon fillets to the air fryer basket and air fry for about 10 minutes. No need to flip. The salmon should have an internal temperature of 145°F with an instant read thermometer or when it easily flakes with a fork.
Pro Tip
Depending on the thickness of your salmon, you may have to add a minute or two to the cooking time. Just keep an eye on it to prevent overcooking and ensure the best results.
Optional step: Take the leftover marinade and add it to a sauce pan on low heat. Then, add some sesame seeds and green onions for even more flavor. After a few minutes, it will thicken and make the perfect sauce to pour over the filets. This adds a whole other dimension to the dish!

Serving
Your cooked salmon should easily flake with a fork when done. Serve with the optional sauce if desired, then add sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Enjoy!
Side Dishes to Pair with Asian Air Fryer Salmon
This sticky and flavorful Asian air fryer salmon would taste fantastic with a more humble side dish such as jasmine rice or brown rice. The nutty and aromatic flavors of the rice would complement the savory salmon perfectly!

How to Store & Reheat Air Fryer Salmon
If you have leftover salmon, I recommend storing it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply place it in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes or until heated through. You can also reheat it in the microwave for about 1-2 minutes.

Made this last night. It was some of the best salmon I have ever eaten and I am from the Pacific Northwest where salmon is a staple. Will make this again, and again, and again…. can I give it 10 stars?

Made this last night and it was delicious. My husband said it could be a company meal and he’s not a big fan of salmon! I didn’t have a lime so I used equal portions of white wine and rice vinegar. I also saved 2 tablespoons of the marinade to make a glaze (heated and added a little cornstarch)Will definitely be making again!

Delicious! The flavor of the marinade blends beautifully with the salmon. I will be making this in the future!
