    Ingredients

    • Old-fashioned rolled oats: The base for our hearty and satisfying breakfast.
    • Apples: Any type of apple works, but a crisp, sweet-tart apple like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith adds great flavor.
    • Spice mix: A cozy blend of ground cinnamon, apple pie spice, and a pinch of salt to enhance the apple flavor.
    • Brown sugar: A little brown sugar provides that extra sweetness that makes oatmeal so good.
    • Whole milk: For a creamy texture, almond milk or other dairy-free alternatives work too.
    • Vanilla extract: Adds a touch of warmth and sweetness.
    • Chopped walnuts: For a delightful crunch and nutty flavor.
    • Cooking spray: This helps reduce any oatmeal from sticking to the slow cooker.
    • Maple syrup: Use pure maple syrup for the best flavor!
