These delicious Air Fryer Stuffed Mushrooms make one of the easiest appetizers. Succulent mushrooms are stuffed to the brim with a creamy, cheesy, and oh-so-flavorful filling. Sprinkle on some fresh herbs, and you’ve got a simple yet fancy appetizer for your next party!

Why Are These the Best Stuffed Mushrooms?
To me, the perfect party appetizer has to check these three boxes:
- Flavorful
- Easy to make
- Looks damn fancy!
My Air Fryer Street Corn is a great example of this, and so are these air fryer stuffed mushrooms. They are (quite literally) packed with flavor, incredibly quick and easy to prepare (thanks air fryer!), and sure to be a conversation starter at your next dinner party.

But what really makes these stuffed mushrooms truly special? It’s the tasty blend of three cheeses combined with savory seasonings, topped with golden, crispy breadcrumbs and a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
While a great appetizer, these mushrooms also make a fantastic side dish to complement any meal. Whether you’re looking for a vegetarian option or want to make family dinner a little extra fancy, you really can’t go wrong with these bite-sized beauties!

Ingredients You’ll Need
- Baby bella brown mushrooms: Use the larger mushrooms for easy stuffing. I like to use baby bellas.
- Cream cheese: Make sure to use room-temperature cream cheese. This will make mixing the filling a lot easier.
- Breadcrumbs: I like to use regular breadcrumbs since panko breadcrumbs tend to come out too crunchy for this recipe.
- Grated cheese: I use a combination of grated parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese to make things cheesy and delicious!
- Fresh parsley: This adds a pop of color and freshness to the stuffed mushrooms.
- Garlic: Everything tastes better with garlic!
- Seasoning: Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes for a little kick.

Other Stuffing Ideas
It’s always fun to try different filling combinations with stuffed recipes. You can try different types of shredded cheese, like cheddar cheese or gouda. For a little more heat, add some diced jalapeno or Italian sausage for a nice, meaty flavor. Just remember mushrooms are small, so a little goes a long way with the filling.
Preparation
Start by cleaning your mushrooms with a damp paper towel. This will remove any loose dirt. Then remove the stems and set the mushroom caps aside.
In a mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, parmesan, mozzarella, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and parsley until smooth.

Fill each mushroom cap with the prepared cheese mixture evenly using a spoon and top with the breadcrumbs.

Cooking
Next, preheat the air fryer to 375°F and place mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Top Tip
Air fryer cooking times can vary, so keep an eye on them and adjust as needed.

Serving
Garnish your stuffed mushrooms with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy!
What to Serve with Air Fryer Mushrooms
While we love an easy appetizer recipe, there aren’t any rules against serving these alongside a delicious main course!
Nothing pairs with mushrooms quite like tender, juicy beef. My Best Damn Sous Vide Steak or Best Damn Instant Pot Short Ribs would be perfect. Pair either with these Roasted Rosemary and Garlic Potatoes or Best Damn Mashed Potatoes, and you’ve got one heck of a meal!

Storing & Reheating
If you have any leftovers, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in the air fryer at 375°F for about 3-5 minutes until warmed through.
