Here’s an easy recipe for air fryer pork chops, seasoned with a simple mix of Parmesan cheese, garlic and seasonings, and cooked to juicy perfection. A quick recipe you can whip up anytime for an absolutely delicious meal!
When it comes to air fryers, there’s so many versatile meals you can make. They do so much more than just “fry” food. For this recipe we’ll use bone-in pork chops that are about an inch thick, mix together some real simple ingredients and in under 10 minutes you’ll have one of the best pork chops you’ve ever made. You’re not gonna believe how good these air fryer pork chops will be!
Simple Ingredients
I think we all love recipes that are easy to make and use simple ingredients. This recipe certainly holds true to that. We start with 2 bone-in pork chops. I like to use the rib cut chops, but really any will work just fine. Our “breading” is a simple mix of grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Chances are pretty good you have most of those ingredients right now. And to bring it all together, we use 1 beaten egg.
Air fryer Pork Chops with No Breading
We start by mixing together the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Then place the mix in a shallow dish. Then use a medium bowl and crack open an egg. One egg is all you need. Beat the egg. Then dunk the pork chop into the egg. Make sure to get it all coated. Lift it out of the bowl and let any excess drip off. Then place the pork chop into the seasoning mix on both sides. Gently rub the mixture in and make sure it’s all well coated.
How Long to Cook Air fryer Pork Chops?
Just like an oven or grill, preheating the air fryer is recommended for best results. Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. Add the seasoned pork chops then air fry for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees. When the pork chops are done they’ll be a beautiful golden color on the outside. The internal temp should be at least 145 degrees. Use an instant read thermometer to check internal doneness.
Serve and Enjoy
Your pork chops are now ready to enjoy! I love to serve with some fresh crisp salad. Some dijon mustard is also outstanding with the pork chops!

These were the best pork chops ever!! I love bone in chops and usually fry them or grill them. Because of the high temps we’re having now I decided to do them in my air fryer. Absolutely fabulous!,l

I made this for hubby tonight. He said it was tasty and tender. I will definitely make it again! It was easy! After reading some of the comments, I doubled the parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning so I would have enough to coat both pork chops. I was afraid of the pepper, so I cut that in half. (We don’t do any type of hot or spicy in this house.) I have loved ALL your recipes, and your blog is the first place I check for recipes for the air fryer.

Thanks so much Dirinda!

Made a batch of 6 of these tonight using this recipe, and everyone liked them. I just doubled the ingredients, and it took 30 minutes in the air fryer. I will make this again.

Made today doubled for four bone in chops. 20 minutes in air fryer. Perfect! Thank you! Quick, easy, and delicious
pam
May I ask is there a way to do this in your oven?
RecipeTeacher
Hi Pam. Your best bet would be to bake in oven at 375°F for about 15-20 min or until internal temp of 145°F. To get a nice finish, you could finish them under the broiler for a couple of minutes until golden brown.

Very good recipe! I used thick boneless chops and air fried for 8 minutes.

Cook time was accurate. There wasn’t enough breading to coat both chops. I’d double the amount. A little garlicky and salty for my taste

So darned good and super easy!! It’s a keeper.
