We’re cooking this Lemon Dill Salmon my favorite way: on the sheet pan with veggies! This easy, one-pan recipe features perfectly tender salmon and crisp green beans, all coated in a delicious lemon dill sauce. All you need is a starch, and dinner is served!

Why I Love This Lemon Dill Salmon Recipe
I’m a big salmon lover. Whether it’s my Easy Baked Garlic Butter Salmon or my Air Fryer Honey Mustard Salmon, you’ve gotta love how simple it is to work with. It cooks fast, is rich and tasty, and best of all, it’s super versatile.
This lemon dill salmon is definitely one of my favorites. With just a few simple ingredients like lemon, olive oil, garlic, and dill, you can whip up something seriously delicious!

Ingredients
- Salmon fillets: Get wild salmon if you can because it has a fuller flavor and is higher in nutrients. Have frozen salmon? Learn how to defrost it here!
- Fresh green beans: You can also use asparagus or another vegetable of your choice. Just adjust the cooking time if necessary.
- Olive oil: What’s a good recipe without olive oil? It adds healthy fats and a delicious flavor to this dish.
- Garlic cloves: Garlic adds lots of flavor to the lemon dill seasoning.
- Lemon: I use lemon zest, lemon juice, and lemon wedges for this recipe. It enhances all the great flavors of the salmon and green beans.
- Fresh dill: One of the top fresh herbs to pair with salmon! They really do taste amazing together.
- Salt & black pepper: The finishing touch to this dish. Season as much or as little as you’d like!

Preparation
Let’s start by preheating your oven to 400°F. Then either line a sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil. Set it aside for now.

Next, place the green beans in a bowl. Drizzle with ½ tablespoon olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly. Then transfer the seasoned green beans to the prepared baking sheet.
Now in a small bowl, combine the remaining olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and dill.

Cooking
Place the salmon skin-side down on the sheet pan. Pour the prepared seasoning mixture over the salmon fillets and spread it evenly.

Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the green beans are tender-crisp.
Top Tips
- The cooking time will depend on the thickness of your fillets. Thicker ones will need more time in the oven, while thinner fillets will cook faster.
- If you’d rather not cut into your salmon to check for doneness, grab an instant-read meat thermometer instead. The salmon’s internal temperature should hit at least 145°F to be fully cooked.

Serving
You’re all set! Transfer the salmon and green beans to plates and garnish with extra dill or lemon slices. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Finish the Meal with a Starch
You’ve got your protein, you’ve got your veggie, now all you need is a starch to round out your meal. Potatoes dishes like my Best Damn Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes or Best Damn Mashed Potatoes would be great for soaking up all that lemon-dill sauce from the salmon.
If you’re looking for a different base, try my Instant Pot Brown Rice. Prefer low-carb? Cauliflower rice makes an excellent alternative.

Storage & Reheating
Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
To reheat, place the salmon on a microwave-safe dish and heat in 30-second increments until warmed through.
For best results, reheat the salmon in the oven or air fryer at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
